AVG free has gone nuts

It says its no longer working, I have to download version 7.5, but the link doesnt work, I can only download 7.1 Is AVG being crap and 'forcing' us to upgrade? Whats a good free alternative Anti Virus ?

Mine is fine. Must be their server up the blink.

I did have trouble downloading a few bits yesterday (Weds) if that makes any difference.

yeah i had problem with updating AVG free edition on one of the client's laptop yesterday
