AVI files to DVD

Hey i have some AVI files from the camera that i want to put onto a DVD, whats the best way to go about doing this?

Nero has a file converter that you can use, it's super straight forward basically just drag and drop and wait for it to encode into DVD.

Hmmm, it wasn't free actually

Total Video2DVD, puts any video file you want on DVD with a few clicks, and you can make menu's too

i was just looking at this but i couldnt find a way to compress the files
they are only 1.4gb of files but it seems to fill the dvd up over 100% :\

use dvd shrink with it perhaps?

Go to Project Settings->General->Target Size->Custom->Custom Size...whatever size you require....->Accept.....

That doesnt seem to shrink down the size of the files
