AVI to DVD - convert as a batch?

I've got a few AVI and mpeg video files I'd like to convert to DVDs.

As the process is quite slow is there any software that I can create a batch job on?
Nero will only let me do one at a time (or am I missing something?)

It would be so much easier if I could just leave a PC on for 12 hours, go back to it and have the DVD files on my hard drive.

As far as I remember TMPGEnc will do batch conversion and I think (correct me if I am wrong) WinAvi too.

I use convertX on one of my machines, it would take 30 mins for 350mb. Its Athlon64 3700 at stock, 1 Gb ram

WinAVI Video Converter allows batch conversions. Like you I prefer to set up a load of dvds and let my pc convert them overnight/during the day.

I could not see the batch option that is why I never suggested ConvertXtoDVD. Good to know though.
