Avi to DVD convertor

Looking to burn to a DVD some AVI files.

Anyone know a good free program?

You can get a free converter thing from the catalyst download page. Never tried it myself so dont know if it converts to DVD or is any good.

DVD Flick - if I understand you correctly, you want to convert some AVI files in DVD Video Files (VOBs etc) and burn them onto blank DVD media, to play on a standalone dvd player, otherwise if you just want to burn them onto blank DVD media as AVIs, simply burn them as "Data" (Ashampoo Burning Suite will do this) which will play in a standalone dvd player if they are supported...

DVD Styler is quite good, I've occasionally had problems with it but mostly very good experiences with it.

The FilmMachine with HC encoder (included in the installation, both free).

HC encoder easily rivals commerical encoders costing thousands of dollars.
