Ok so i havent got a clue how to do this but im trying to get an avi file converted to dvd so i can watch it on a normal dvd player, ive tryed a few programs but they all put a watermark in the middle of it so is there any free programs that will do it without putting the watermark on or is it only pay ones that will be fine.

Only program I use is convertxtodvd drag and drop file into box, hit convert then hit burn once convert completed and throw it in the dvd player and enjoy!!

You can tweak back grounds and all sort with it to, full screen no water mark stuff ;)

WinAvi isn't free unless he wants the same watermark problem. As mentioned previously ConvertXtoDvd or you could try SVCD2DVD.

Look here for more options.

Looks like your asking the impossible, there are NO (as far I am aware of) FREE programs that'll do this without limitations. You could use both TMPGEnc + IFOEdit.

TMPGEnc (the trial version works for only 30days!)
IFOEdit (required! for authoring the DVD-Video disc)

Try reading THIS on how to use them

Good site.

WinAvi converter or DivX Converter, both programs work fine for me and are quite fast even when you are converting multiple DVD's.

PS: Im converting a few songs out of a DVD and converting them into .avi's right now using DiVx, what a coincidence.

winavi is great for quickly dumping avi files etc into a dvd format but like others have said its not free

not sure there are any free programs that do it for free.

if you have nero isnt there a program with it that does it?

I've been fannying around with crap programs for ages, trying to achieve this with poor results..

DVD Santa is the ONLY so far that hasnt crashed, been consistent, and given good quality output, most importantly IN SYNC :)
