AVI TO VOB

Any free programs that actually do this conversion as the only ones I can come across only burn 50% or don't do the job at all.

Anyone got any ideas?

You could try Super

It will convert AVI to MPEG2 (it says), not sure about then into DVD Video File (vob etc.).

I'm sure there is a free program that will then convert the MPEG2 into DVD Video Files.

You won't find any free programs that can take an avi and author it into a dvd.

Hi there this is true ,its not free ,but i use a program called Covertxtodvd its very good ,will put menus on abd a background you choose,it converts avi to dvd ,i have used it ,and they play on my dvd player no trouble ...
