AVI Won't play

Says it is encoded in

Video : XviD at 855 kbps
Audio : MP3 253kbps 2ch 48khz

I have xvid installed and the k-lite codec pack but it still won't play.

Have you tried using VLC Media Player, it plays about anything.

Why?
You only need FFDSHOW. You don't need xvid and K-lite bloatware.

Have a look in the Video Codecs section for some good codec packs, uninstall any codec packs first before installing anything from this list, of those listed FFDShow is probably the best.

Also double check in Media Player Classic that the chosen codec is actually enabled for use.

View>Options>Internal Filter.
