All really very good there mate! But what on earth is going on in that first one?
I would say he's either breaking the sound barrier (unlikely) or the wings are compressing water vapour in the air forming a cloud?

Buttkicker: Number 4 would be beautiful if it weren't for the chappy in the shot :p

Fighters doing big turns (g-force) create vapour when moisture is present in the air

that shot of the Eurofighter was near the waters edge with lots of water in the air, creating the Vapour trail

Gotta disagree with you... I like it as it is with the guy snapping it approaching him
thanks for commenting

Esp as his angle aint nowhere near as good as yours. You're dead on there. Looks great. :)

the second one, it would be difficult breaking the sound barrier at that angle of attack.

The red arrows one could be cropped to remove the end hawk taxiing into line. Kind of spoils it. The typhoon could do with a contrast boost and you could clone the guy out standing in your shot with the MD-11?

King.

Agree with all of that. I wonder if the Red Arrow shot would look better in colour?

I kinda like that. Gives a sense of scale and makes it a little different to every other shot of a plan coming down a runway.

My fave has to be the MiG in the 4th shot. The lighting is shot on and the afterburners add a nice splash of colour.

Good work!

Totally agree, A great perspective as to the scale of the aircraft too.. :)

Nice series.. ;)

Pulling high G turns causes an intense low pressure area over the wings and/or vortexes at the wing tips. Low pressure means low temperature and in moist conditions the water vapour 'condenses out'. Thease are different from contrails which are purely water vapour in the jet exhaust condensing out in the very low temps at high altitude.
