Avira antivirus wont add files to my ignore list

...as above. I keep getting false positives and when i restore the files back to their original location I tick to put them on the ignore list and it gives me the message files were not added to the ignore list? Can anybody recommend a free alternative that won't give me this nonsense?

yeh use default windows security its good enough. however if you need a security suite too keep Work happy check out bitdefender free
