Avoiding RSI (computer use, guitars)

Dunno if this classes as a medical thread, I assume not though since its hardly medical and im not asking for a medical solution.

Recently my right wrist has been paining a bit, it comes in bursts and usually stops after I leave the computer a while. Could be due to all this writing im doing while revising, but its probably due to my mouse usage or something.

What do you lot generally do to avoid it (besides the obvious, taking a break). I know you can get those squashy things for your keyboard, but are there similar things for mice?

I play guitar as well but I doubt thats causing the problem, who knows.


any ideas?
