AvP MP demo is live

good god this is sooo awful!

The sound is terrible like its been done by some college students. The noise from the assualt rifle is about the same quality as goldeneye. The animations are truly shocking.

The marine walks about 0.5 MPH and the guns are awful. Doesnt even run that good for me with a Q6600 and a GTX260

Sure should, controls seem delayed, the sound is very poor and the lag is beyond a joke. This isn't 1996.

Play it, you will agree. Awful, awful game.

I can see why it's being sold >£20 in some places ;)

I hope there's another demo with the finished code, this one does come with the disclaimer that it's using beta code and not the finished article but the improvement better be steep otherwise it's like an fps from 10 years ago.

Still, could be fun with a few mates but at the moment it's off my pre order list.
 
This isnt surprising rebellion have made some shockers recnently.

This wasnt a good move to relsease a demo. What they showed us in videos looked class and many people have pre orderd.

They will cancel now
 
wont let me install for some reason, when i click install demo it does nothing

edit : nvm working now :D
