AW3821DW randomly adjusts brightness every few minutes

I have had the AW3821DW monitor for about a day and have been noticing it is randomly decreasing then increasing what appears to be the brightness by itself.

For example I can leave a web page open with Google search results and after a few minutes the monitor will dim iself very slightly. Then after a few more minutes it will increase the brightness back to what it was before. This cycle will contine endlessly.

I have tried looking at the monitor settings and there is nothing noticeable in there that would be causing this issue (Dark stabilizer, variable backlight, Ambient light sensor and HDR are all off).

I have had a look in the windows settings but it doesn't look like there is anything in there that would be causing it.

I have it connected by Display Port and have tried adjusting the cable and moving display port connections on my 3080 but none of that helps. Also my previous monitor worked with none of these problems.

Anyone got any ideas?

You’re sure all those things are turned off? If so maybe try a screen reset in the menu to factory defaults. Maybe also try a different refresh rate in windows or connect over hdmi for a bit. Or a different displayport cable

Yeah those settings are definetly all turned off.

I'll try a factory reset, see if that helps.
