I have seen this one a few forums. Basicly list the away games you have been this year and then others can ask advice on parking and pubs ect if they are planning on going.

This season i have been

Bolton
Everton
Hull
Blackburn
Aston Villa
Wigan
Man City x2 (one league one FA cup)

The advice i would give for Bolton would be to avoid the train at all costs if your team has had problems with Greater Manchester Police in the past.

We got about 150 fans marched with about 30 cops and 5 riot vans from victoria station to picadiily station Manchester (stoke on trent train is in picadilly)

The cops treated us like caged animals anyone who tried to leave there pen got a good smash benhind the knees. Wanted to go for a drink/food in manchester after the game? Tough doodies you were MADE to go home. Man City and Manchester united did not even play that day either.

Aston Villa is an absolute horrible place to park and drive to. Next time i would just use the train and taxi.

If anyone has any questions about the away games i have been just ask:p

My buddy drove to Villa and we just did street parking. Unfortunately the place goes into a one way system after the match so we had to turn the car around and becuase veryone wants to get on the M6 quickly no one would stop for us.

Massive delay on getting out of the place aswel.

What team you support? Just a guess due to location but maybe Pompy?

If so i have been there before back in the day you signed Yakubu in the old div 1. It was stokes first year back in the div 1 and i think you were top. We lost 3-0 and i remember steve stone scoring a goal. I also remember the roof on the away stand.

My next away day will probably be pompy on the 20th. Any tips?
