Ok having a bit of an elderly moment here - seem to remember there being a lot of talk of an awesome mod for Crysis which was generally viewed as a "must try" (possibly involving robots).
I've just finally finished Crysis single player and want to carry on with somthing else so if by some strange chance anyone knows what I'm talking about (or can recommend me a good crysis mod!) then I'd very much appreciate it :)

Yep, Crysis is a decent pc game, just make sure you get the maximum edition pack, contains all 3 games.

-Crysis.
-Crysis Warhead.
-Crysis Wars [Multiplayer only].
 
That mod looks cool - I'm only getting around to playing through Crysis for the first time now too, and it's one of the best single player FPS's I've ever played. It probably helped that I was able to just knock all the graphics settings up high and wade in :)
 
You should have seen what it was like when it first came out. Nobody could run it at the graphical quality they wanted. A lot of people spent more time tweaking the game than playing it. Nowadays we have systems that are powerful enough, but I envy anyone who's playing the game for the first time the way it was meant to be seen.
 
Yeah the chickens exploding into a cloud of bloody gas might be a bit overdone but I thought it was pretty cool. Hollywood effects for a Hollywood shooter.
 
Only need the original Crysis for this mod though right? Definitely in the mood for some mech action after reading the Legend Of Jade Phoenix trilogy I found in my local Cancer Research shop :)
 
I have no idea, I use it with the original Crysis. It's only a very small download (1mb or so) so you may as well try it. It consists of a system.cfg and a .pak file.
