I thought I'd share this story for Mac users to appreciate...
Just decided to show my mum a bit of my uni work, as she is interested in it. Background: I'm doing a Teaching degree and earlier today I taught a lesson on maths, so she wanted to see the resources etc.
Anyway, I brought up Spotlight (don't use it that often actually) and typed in 'Maths' to find a powerpoint presentation I did. What I forgot was that several months earlier, my friend emailed me a 'geeky joke' entitled 'Maths Porn'. Think sexual fiction mixed with mathematics...yeah. This showed up in Spotlight, taking up 5 lines, no idea why. Either way, it was obvious and the actual file I was after was nowhere to be found.
I muttered under my breath, quickly tabbed away and went to find it elsewhere. Really awkward next few minutes.
TLDR: My mum saw a file named 'Maths Porn' on my Mac and probably thinks I'm some sort of sicko.
