aww damn my RAM just went out of stock :S

Hmm not bad :) , looking at my build, im trying to find the best ram i could get for it, i don't mind paying a bit more for good ram as its important :)

Hey Xion, completely agree with Cob, the Corsair 4GB DDR2 XMS2 PC2-6400C5 TwinX (2x2GB) will be perfect. :)

If I may, theirs a couple of components that you have chosen that I would question. For example the motherboard, unless you are planning to go SLI later down the line, I would honestly have a look at one of the P35 or X38 motherboards. They are much cheaper and if not slightly better in terms of stability and overall performance.

Now, you have chosen to go for the BFG GeForce 8800 GTX OC2 and in my opinion, is not worth the extra £30 over the standard clocked version, which can be found here. To save even more money, you could actually go for the OcUK GeForce 8800 GTX.

The Western Digital Raptor is entirely up to you but in my opinion, it is not worth the extra over the standard hard drives.

Finally, any particular reason why you are choosing the 32-bit version of Windows Vista? You honestly should be looking at a 64-bit Operating System.

Just a few things to consider and to open up your options a bit more. :)

Hey guys thanks for the info,

Yeah i am planning on going Sli :) not just yet, but it will be an option later on, so thats why im getting that mobo, and until then a nice good GTX would do.

That raptor drive, a couple of people adviced i get that, i was going to use that drive for OS/few other bits and the 500GB one for the rest like music, games, downloads.

Hmm im not too confident on the 64 bit version of Vista yet, I'll probably upgrade to 64 bit later down the line when its more established and stuff, i just don't want to have driver issues with things, can upgrade via http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/2057/ordermedia/default.mspx.

Hmm Cob that RAM looks okay too, never heard of G.Skill though :S lol, i guess RAM is quite an important part of the build, so i do ensure i get a good one, and don't mind paying a bit extra for a better model, as this builds going to last me a few years just as the PC i have now has :)

G.Skill are pretty well known in the overclocking community. Tho they're far bigger in the Far East.

If you have the money for a Raptor then they're great for an OS drive.

Yeah i mean i don't mind paying you see, i'd rarther spend good money on good parts now, so it will be worth it and last me, i did that with my last PC, lasted me around 4-5 years now, going good, but its time for an upgrade :) spent around the same last time, and had 0 problems with the PC too :) I just hope everything i have works together okay and stuff.
