Just received these items and I'm a little confused as to which power cables to use.

The PSU comes with 6+2 pin cables and also 6+2(x2....split) cable

Common sense makes me want to use the 6+2 pin cables as this would mean good power supply to the GPU, but the aesthetic side wants to use the single split cable.

Would the single split cable be up for the job, or would it be better using 2 dedicated cables?

I had to look up a review to see what you meant there. I take it you mean you have two cables with 1x 6+2 pin plug on each and two cables that have a pair of 6+2 pin plugs on each (like a extension coming off the first plug)? The cables with the two plugs will be fine. Your psu is single 12v rail anyway so it wouldn't make a lot of difference.

I had the same internal debate with myself with my 980s and AX1500i. There should be no issues with the single cable with a pair of plugs, I went the opposite direction so I could view the power draw per cable in Corsair Link, for no reason other than that I was interested and don't have a windowed case anyway.

The single cable will be up to the job.
