I never thought to do a newbie project log so im just going to
post some straight up shots.

Honestly this started off as an upgrade to an existing "World bought pc"
theres not much left of that system now. hah
Front
(yes there is scres pointing out of the case will fix this next)
I enjoyed the build all be it stressfull with screws missing and wires
not fitting correctly and a dead mobo
After several trips to a local store and coffe's
i finally managed to finish
Side panel off

Spec so far
i7 860 lynfield
Corsair H70 cpu cooler
Asus Maximus III Gene Mobo
(No name DDR3 Ram 6gb - to be changed)
(Western Digital 1.TB "Green" - to be changed)
XFX 6970 2gb
Corsair Hx-750w
Mountain Mods Monticle 18 (optional fan config)
So there we have it...
not much to say apart from im really happy with the build despite all the troubles
perhaps an 8channel fan controller is priority next as it sounds like im in a generator room
