For those that would be interested maybe we could post some days/dates of availability before the weather changes for the worse.

I can do most Friday afternoons as I finish work at 1pm 20minutes from Ay. I can't do the next two Fridays though due to Holiday & Friends birthday.

I can do the odd Saturday / Sunday, just depends what the missus has planned for me :P

Depends on the day,and that you don't wanna meet at the crack of dawn but I wouldn't mind popping down

I could come from London...
I have most Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays free, also some Thursdays, so basically the opposite of most normal people :D

I'm back, I just need to pick up a brake pump from my mate and should be able to go out on Friday... hopefully. :p

I wondered why you'd gone quiet

You mean the master cylinder? Did you try a rebuild kit,new piston and seal that the brake lever pushes on

I can only do weekends. Pretty much can do any Saturday or Sunday in the coming months except this Saturday (17th).

I was on... I wouldn't call it holiday as I had lots of paperwork and other stuff to sort out.

Drove this thing for the whole week.
It was slow, but I can kind of see why my mate sold his bike and got a car. :p

Going back to the bike, yeah the master cylinder is useless. KTM did it so you can't rebuild it... F KTM, selling the bike ASAP before something breaks again. hahaha :p

So I've the whole next week off apart from Saturday and Sunday's, would anyone be up for a meet? I'm not sure if I'll be able to ride on Monday as I'm waiting for a part. It would be cool to have a last longer ride out before I sell my bike...

Ducati Monster 821? There's now an A2 version ;)

Though the MT07 would be a perfect A2 bike.

The kind of money I need to spend on MT07 could get me my 'realistic' dream bike, which is... CLICK :D

It just seems like a lot of money, another thing is I don't have a garage (it would be a shame to keep it outside). MT07 is a nice bike but I think 3k budget will get me something decent too. I'm looking at XJ6's faired and naked's atm.

ATM It me thinking out loud, as I'm now taking thsese factors into account; the costs, parts availability, reliability, performance/economy and what you get for the money.

Edit

Just looked at the prices of the monster, I'm not rich! :p

Either a car or really cheap CG/YBR just to get me around till I pass my A2, then? I have no clue, all the bikes I like are either too powerful or not available in the UK.

Stick with the bike, or get a car for the bad weather and pick up a bike again in Feb/March :)

Yeah, I won't get that kind of acceleration and adrenaline in a car. The things that I miss about driving a car is the comfort and the ability to take your gf with you. Although, when I had the car I felt like a taxi driver. :p

add some nitrous to your 125;)

So it could fell apart completely? hahaha :p
