Very few of you may know of AYN who released the Android Handheld called Odin with Snapdragon 845 (there is aso a Lite model with Dimensity 900)

They recently announced their Loki Series which has Alder Lake, 6600U and 6800U at very competitive pricing:

ModelProcessorGraphicsStoragePrice
Loki miniIntel Alder Lake UIntel integrated graphics for 12th-gen processors64GB$299
LokiAMD Ryzen 5 6600URadeon 660M (6 cores)64GB$499
LokiAMD Ryzen 5 6600URadeon 660M (6 cores)256GB$599
LokiAMD Ryzen 5 6600URadeon 660M (6 cores)512GB$699
Loki MaxAMD Ryzen 7 6800URadeon 680M (12 cores)512GB$799

I will most likely go for the 6600U entry model and may get a discount because I bought and Odin Pro.

Yes I was just reading about this on the Indiegogo AYN Odin page....
My Odin pro is on the way... did you get yours kakarott?

So what is different about the Loki compared to the Odin?

Yea got mine in January, was a super early bird backer. As I understand this will have a similar build to Odin but with way more powerful CPU. No announcement on OS yet.

Says Windows, but hopefully with SteamOS releasing in the near future, you can use that.

Seems like the top end one should beat the SteamDeck, but battery and cooling would be a concern if it’s the same size as the Odin.

Cheers. I got the Odin Base Pro solo, what discount would I be entitled to for the Loki?
$25

Its been confirmed that only Loki mini and mini pro will be same size as Odin. The Loki will be bigger and max being the biggest.

Makes sense. I’m still waiting for my SteamDeck, but this could be a better option given the improved performance and potential to run SteamOS for better efficiency over Windows.

Should get my Odin soon and can see what the quality is like.

Btw they have now added a Mini Pro which will have pentium alder lake. The mini will have celeron. They will also both have AMD CPUs, mendocino by the looks of it.

Base Loki is now 128gb instead of 64gb and same price. Also pegged to have 8gb ram. I'm learning towards that and one of the minis since I won a $50 coupon on Taki's discord.

Since I'm still waiting for my Odin, and have a res on the SteamDeck, I'll wait for reviews. The top end one looks like it could be great, but I'll wait for early reviews.

They also mention Ubuntu, so I assume it'll be like SteamOS lite. Would definitely install SteamOS once it's released.

Ive just received anotther email about the discounts but they are a bit confusing for me...

"Price due today" for the Loki 6600 is coming out as $25????

Yes reservation system like steam which is refundable (pay with PayPal or card) and then you pay when your order is ready.

For the mini, they take full payment as it's somewhat cheap.

I mean. I just spent 200 quid on the Odin. Why pay another 300 or 400 for this? What is it going to bring? I guess it's about steam games and higher consoles?

Will this accept microSD?
