Azure, Service Bus, CQRS

Random request, looking for a consultant of some form to help with the initital design of a project.

Its a CRM system and our initial idea is to use Azure and its associated technologies. These would be, Service Bus, worker roles, SQL, blob storage, MVC web role UI.

Need advice on if our proposal is feasible and possibly some further diving into the whole design.

Our developer background is all fairly small client/server/n-tier web and desktop apps.

Anyone do this kind of thing or know any companies that do?

Have you looked at CRM vendors at all ? This is quite a common business requirement and I would be surprised if there wasn't already something out there that does what you need. May well be cheaper to buy rather than build.

I happen to work for one of them, but not on the CRM side. I'll not say who as I don't want to fall afoul of the "no business promotion" rule. Hopefully others can chip in with vendor suggestions.

Its a rewrite of our current aging VB6 desktop application(which we sell) so will be doing it ourselves.
