Hi all

I have just reformated my PC, and for some unknown reason I cant seem to get any "remote" connections anymore from "any" BT sites.

I have forwarded my port, and Azureus says my port connection is OK!

it is on the corect IP address to my PC, so i cant understand why this is happening, i even tried different IP addressess and tried a different range of PORTs, now using numbers between 40000 and 60000

any suggestions?

Thanks

Could be BT have profiled you and blocked / restricted peer to peer type connections...

Try Utorrent instead of azureus ( i switched from Azu myself the other day) Utorrent allows you to encrypt the data stream which may help in this situation....

Try forwarding port 6881 in both TCP/UDP as well as your Azureus port. Even though you specify that port, I think some listening is done on 6881 iirc.

i hope not, i could "try" that program to se eif it makes any difference but ive been useing Azureus since i've started using torrents.

its funny that its only just arted doing it when i reinstall WinXP back on the system

Using Utorrent now, seems to be fine

I liked azureus becuase of the smiles on the side telling you if your not connected locally, NAT problem etc

well, i can only think that I must have tweaked Azureus incorect,

When i uninstall it, and delete the folder, install it again, and all my settings are back! lol how do i delete it all?

Hi, glad to see utorrent works, I used azureus only also until last week. Had always used it, but found speed had gone down really low. Am sticking with utorrent now!

To get rid of all azureus settings etc, use something like ccleaner after uninstalling it to clean your registry, should get rid of it all.....
