I was just wondering if their was a way to get azureus to load balance between a wired ethernet connection and a wireless connection both connecting to the net through cable.

Either way it'll take the same bandwidth from the internet.
But if you must, I don't think there is a way without hacking the actual software which is illegal.
What you could try is 3rd party software if there is one.

Alternatively what you could do as a last resort is invest in gigabit ethernet. :)

Huh? Azureus is released under the terms of the GNU Public License. As such its source code is avaliable and it is open for modification.

Ah right. I see. I didn't know that. I was under the impression it was privately owned. :)

Can wingate load balance across two connections ?

And btw, Azureus can use a socks proxy.

Yes. you just need to configure the two gateways in wingate then setup a socks proxy and use the option to rotate the gateways.

how exactly were you going to go about editing closed source software anyway, magic?

Alright, some people aren't as bloody smart as you so just let it go yeh.
I even said what I thought and what I didn't know. I don't need no smart arse rubbing it in ffs. And incase you didn't realise, hacking and uncoding privetely owned software is illegal providing someone knows how to do it.

lol

but why load balance an application. Your downloading too much porn you are. Just be good with what you have got or google it :)

Maybe he wants to load balance because he's got his own wired connection to the Internet and is pikeying his neighbours wireless connection too, and he wants to use both :p

Umm, that might be slightly illegal :p

Personally i can't see the point in load balancing but the OP could have two seperate networks or something.

Quite, and it would make this thread a candidate for disappearing.

If the OP has two connections, surely load balancing at the router would be a better idea?
Would then apply to everyone and everything on the network...
