hello there,

After about 15-30 mins anywhere in that range Azureus freezes my internet, msn shuts off, it stops downloading, no bandwidth doing anything at all, no web pages load etc.

And i try to reboot my router and it still doesnt work..

So i reboot my pc and then its fine again is my internet.
So every time it does it i have to reboot which is getting anoying

Does any one know how i may fix this?

Thank you

Have you ever tried Utorrent, much better, smaller, and not the resource hog that azureus is, and no java required.

aye i dont like utorrent i dislike how its installed etc

In that case form what you describe it sounds like your tcp driver is shutting down or crashing, if all you internet traffic is stopping,

Do you use a router, i have read before that sometimes too many connections/traffic can crash them when downloading torrents,

If you are using xp have you done the TCP port hack?
What are all you limits set to in azureus?

ok ok hold up im not too bright with internet stuff,

i just plug my router in and away i go :p

Erm, iv not done any xp tcp hack thingy dont even know what that is,
it used to work fine i dont know whats up with it now

Ok i would start by reading this

http://torrentfreak.com/optimize-your-bittorrent-download-speed/

Does azureus crash? or does it just stop downloading, If you ctrl-alt-del is it taking up 100%cpu?

Have you changed your antivirus recently?

read all that, mine seems to be fine.

i really dont see how its just magicly doing this all of a sudden it never used to

btw azureus doesnt crash it just stops downloading and my internets just not doing anything when it does it.

crl alt del is fine its not taking up usage
