Our next event will be held on the 7th august.

We've confirmed a couple of new sponsors so loads of prizes to be won.

Hello all,

As many of you may already now, we now have a new sponsor Steel Series. As well as crucial, Local Bits and ******** they will be sending us some awsome prizes to be won at B-11, so its not to be missed.

As we will have an internet connection at the event it will also open up the possibility of newer games being played.
Steam and xfire ports will be opened as well as Xbox live ports!!

The B-series event is getting bigger and better all the time and some exiting new changes have been made.

A quick reminder of the main tournaments:

COD 4
Grid Racedriver
Unreal Tournament 3
Tekken 6 (PS3 on projector)
Fifa 10 (PS3 on projector)
Command & Conquer generals zero hour
Pain (PS3 on projector)

The winners of the tournaments wins a prize and 1st place goes through to the final.

The final is played on the PS3 on the projector and wins the main prize!

We also encourage 1v1 challenges between gamers. For example, you want to challenge some one to a death match on COD4
We will provide a small prize for the winner!!

Also, as per our previous communication, due to venue, running costs etc the on the door price is £13.50 but if you pay via bank transfer the ticket price remains at £10.

Good to see you've Unreal Tournament 3 in there, it's a a lot of fun and obviously competitive too. C&C General's is another great choice.
Good luck with it, and hopefully you'll capture some gaming action for us to can't go to watch.
 
What type of UT3 are you playing? If you've not thought about it, Betrayal is good for different skill levels. Normally at LAN's you get one or two people who are good at UT3, either Normal Weapons or Instagib. They win everything by a mile and the other players aren't that interested, and end up not playing at the next event because they think it's a bad game.

With Betrayal, you get put in random teams of 2, and you both kill everyon else and those points go into a pot. At any time, your team mate can kill you with Alt fire, and take all the points in the pot. You then change teams and carry on until the time / score limit. It's a fun game and normally keeps people happy.

Hi wispy!

That is a great idea!! I'll deffo mention this in our next team meeting. All the tournaments are set for the event on the 7th so this could be a good one for b-12!

If anyone has any other good ideas like this one let me know!

B-11 was a great success!!!!

We're now working on B-12
With us now having full internet connectivity we are able to play a wider variety of games!!

I'll create a new thread to advertise B-12 once we've confirmed the dates.
