What actually comes with the "B graded products"? or is it different with every one?

Do they still have the full warranty's that are in the descriptions or are they overwritten by the 90 day oc one?

any help appreciated :)

AFAIK they include whatever is left on the manufacturers warrenty as well from original date of purchase (as they are just returned items).

I've have a couple of motherboards from B-grade for mates and one of them came with everything except the backplate and another with just the backplate. I think it is whatever bits it gets returned with.

i think it is different. i got a crosshair formula 3 motherboard. came in a brown box in a anti-static bag. nothin else.

It varies on what they come with:

If you want to know about a specific item then ask in the Customer Service section of the forum.

There are certain items I would never consider buying if B Grade, a monitor for example.

Someone may have bought it, found some pixel faults and returned it under the DSR.

yeah and take all the good stuff out.

the motherboard i got is supposed to come with a seperate pcie sound card.
didnt have one in the box so had to go a week without sound till i got one off the bay.

would you recommend a graphics card off the clearance line or not?

thanks for replying btw

You're welcome.

Personally I wouldn't.

A lot of stuff in the B Grade section will be something someone has bought, tried and returned.

Most people do that for a particular reason and that isn't usually "I tried it, it works perfectly but I've just changed my mind".

You don't really have to worry about a lack of accessories with a graphics card unless there's a particular adapter or cable it should have that you need. And you can usually source these for a few quid.

But it may have been returned because it's a crap overclocker or runs a bit hotter or louder than it should.

None of which make it faulty but are annoying enough to put you off if you've paid £200, or whatever, for it.

Or it may have a intermittent fault and someone thought I'll just send it back using the DSR rather than risk having an RMA rejected.

If you can buy a £200 card for £150 it may be worth taking a chance.

If it was £10 or £20 off a £200 card I'd pay the extra and buy a "new" one.

surely if that was the case, then i could just do the same and send back under DSR? Give it a thorough look over/testing before the 7 days and if i found it a poor oc or had a minor fault id still get me money back?

You certainly could as long as you don't mind the hassle and are happy to pay for return postage.

Edit:

FYI you have 7 working days from the day after it's delivered to give notification that you want to return it under the DSR.
