Have just ordered the one of the above that was for sale - It did appear to be a bargain but am now having reservations.

Have never bought a B grade before - foolish or good idea?

Will it still have the Hazro 3 yr warranty as well as the 90 days from ocuk?

Will my 7950 be ok to drive it - I had no concerns until I read the Hazro user manual which advises that it must have a Dual-link DVi output ..... Dvi I'm sure of and I'm reasonablly confident that it will also be dual- link but can anyone confirm?

Advise / thoughts appreciated.

Am looking forward to the ips 2560x1440 panel !!

B grade could be anything.

Someone may just have returned it because they changed their mind.

It may have been returned due to dead/faulty pixels, backlight bleed etc.

You won't know until you get it.

I think all HD 7950s have a dual link DVI but you may need a cable as a B grade monitor may not come with one.

Thanks for the advise - Did think it might be a bit of a punt but for the price could not resist.
Any thoughts ref Hazro warranty?

B grade is most likely to have some form of panel defect that resulted in someone returning it.

You'll probably end up with light bleeding or some dead pixels - I'd never buy a B grade monitor for that reason.

My Sapphire 7950 handled the Hazro no problem, until the Hazro died and now it drives the DGM IPS-2701. Skyrim, Diablo 3, Rift - They all look superb in 2560x1440.
However I do share the same concerns that others have raised here. I really hope that it works out for you but a B grade monitor is a risk that I would not be prepared to take. Not even if it was a Dell.

Having read above comments , a few threads and reviews decided that the Hazro was not for me so rang ocuk this morning when they very kindly swapped my order for a new DGM IPS-2701.
Thanks

That's probably not true. B Grade doesn't normally mean that the product is faulty.

It normally means that the product has been returned because someone doesn't want it, and now can't be sold as new or that it is missing cables, manuals or accessories.

I have had the B-grade Hazro 27" (ordered from Hazro directly) for 7 months now and have had zero problems with it. Granted, it felt a bit like a gamble but if has paid off for me and I am a very happy customer. It's out of warranty now though so let's just hope it doesn't fail...

Well you always have the DSR to fall back on, you can return it within 7 days if something is actually wrong with it.

But as bignev72 said, faulty stock is not sold as a B grade product. B grade most likely will just have missing accessories, like power adapters, cables etc.

A monitor with some pixel faults wouldn't necessarily be considered as faulty and monitors returned using the DSR probably aren't checked for this.

Received the DGM today and it's up & running.

Very pleased both with the monitor (no dead pixels it appears - worked straight out of the box ) - glorious screen!! with ocuk for kindly arranging (without any comment/complaint) the last minute order swap and with both ocuk and dpd as it arrived exactly when they said it would and in excellent condition.:)

Just got to find the work round ref. missing bios screen.

Was it a b-grade DGM Aged?

No- bought a new one.

As I remember the saving to be made comparing new to b-grade was not that great for the dgm so I was not tempted.
The difference when I looked at the Hazro was much greater so nearly bought. Glad now that I decided to go new & went for the dgm - I should have bought when they 1st came out tho. What a price!!!

Hi Aged...Theres a good chance that Harzo was mine! My RMA refund was processed on the 9th. It is a dual link dvi cable. I tested it with a VTX3D HD 7950 X-Edition. I decided to keep the DGM or the Harzo.
