Hey guys, I started my PC up today and got this.

It was a B-grade buy from overclockers and I feel its on its way out. Is it worth upgrading my mobo now before it dies??

That one doesnt have a switch.

Does it show that screen all the time?

Have you let it do what its doing then restarted the PC?

it usually does that if it suffers a bad crash or memory crash

its fine and normal, ive had to do it on my board a few times,i would flash to latest bios or beta bios and try setting up xmp profile for your memory

your board isn't dying it just crashed badly and corrupted the main bios

Heya, I can only get the beta BIOS. It's a gen 2 mobo running a gen 3 cpu you see.

just keep your eye on it over the next few days,if it keeps doing it it might be worth going for z77

gigabyte were a bit late in utilising uefi bios, esp with z68/ivy cpu combo's

im using z77 board/cpu and no issues

Would I benefit with upgrading the Mobo? I feel its way out of date now, Its a gen 2 board and gen 5 is due out soon :P

only if it keeps playing up,crashing ect if seen a few issues with that board but it might be fine idk

all you'd gain with z77 is better stability

Am having problems with unstable graphics cards and sometime the OC's on my cpu/memory reset etc.

I might just grab a gen 4 board.

it usually resets if the oc settings are unstable ect

what cpu are you using?

if you want a trouble free z68 board id look at a used asus v pro board,if z77 then anything asus or gigabyte should be ok

It is a decent board due to its many power phases, I wouldn't be so hasty to swap it.

There really isn't allot of difference day to day between the Z68 and the Z77.
