What is up with the current B Grade prices at present? Nearly every single GPU is priced at the exact same price it sold for originally!

For example: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BG-044-PL&groupid=595&catid=683

Originally sold for £366.66 ex VAT.

Selling B Grade for £366.66 ex VAT.

So a GPU, which admittedly might well be in perfect condition, but is in fact second hand is selling for the same price as a brand new item complete with full manufacturer warranty.

That isn't the only example. There is a reference 290X for sale at £399.99

TBH I'm not even looking for anything at present, I just always have a wee look at the clearance lines and am often bemused by the pricing. Given the warranty situation alone, I would say pricing should be at least 10% lower than on any B grade item.

If you keep watching they'll be sorted out - it generally takes a week or so after they first appear for some reason.

I was just browsing a few times and I noticed like a £5 - £10 difference. Just lol at that. My car goes from £18,000 to £12,000 the instant it leaves the forcourt.

Never seen a decent deal in B grade. Would always rather pay the little extra for the full warranty or scout out the for sale section for an even better price.

I got a phanteks enthoo luxe for 70 quid! Came with everything but the guys at dpd had a game of footy with it before I recieved it and the top panel studs had all broken. Overclockers said they would order a new panel and send me it for free.

Thats great customer service there considering I got it for 50 quid off too. :-)

dont buy B Grade stuff from here, because they wont tell you what's wrong with it......esp the PC Cases, i've sent them a few emails this week and they've just fogged me off.

a pc case is worthless if it's damaged/scratched on the outside...........esp a Lian Li.......you want it to be damaged on the inside, because that's easy to fix, but they wouldn't tell me........i was quite cross about this !!!

They wont say, probably because they don't know ;)
Not all b grade is damaged, etc. As for whether it's worthless, depends on the saving...surely? Tiny scratch and saves half retail, not worthless. Bent, buckled out of shape then yes. The problem is, you're Mal X.

Basically when b grade is generated on ocuk system its at the same price as the original item. The buyer/purchaser who looks after that product group has to manually go in and edit the prices, its a job that typically isnt checked every day.
