Hello, new here and looking at a distro plate that says b-grade. I've wandered around here for answers on b-grade products but most of the posts on this topic seem to focus mostly GPUs or mobos.

Wondering if 1) manufacturer warranties still carry over, as I'm an international customer so the 90 days while convenient does seem to negate its benefit if I need to pay for the cost of return shipping if there are any issues. Just want to weigh my options here vs risk. And 2) the particular item I'm looking at is in fact the exact same cost as new. I've reached out to OcUK to see inquire about this but is this normal or would it be possible they just forgot to mark it down? Also would they disclose what's wrong with the item if asked?

You might get some detail on why it's B-grade but don't count on it, staff may not have time to check.

You can usually make an offer of a list price and see if they accept, so try that.

Being honest if you're concerned about warranty I'd be wary of international purchases in general as it will complicated things in terms of timing and shipping costs.
The manufacturer is with EK which is international for me anyway. They cover shipping cost if there's an issue. I guess I just want to know if the manufacturer warranty would still be in tact. I'll see about making an offer if they get back to me. Thanks.
