I have a problem with a B grade item i got. i am passed the 14day return window, i a message the manufacture who told me the item is in warranty but it not in my name so i can get the item replaced.
however when you get an iten from B Grade OcUK tell you that you will get the remaining bank of warranty on the item.

I am confused at what i should do.

What does "B-Grade" mean?
B-Grade items are manufacturer's repairs or items we are unable to sell as new, they may be subject to packaging damage or may be a brown box product. All B-Grade items come with a 90 day warranty and may be missing items such as driver CD's and cables. Unfortunately we are unable to provide you with the reason why this is B-Grade as each B-Grade item is different.

Should have a 90 day warranty with OCUK.

Ask customer services.

I once bought a b grade graphics card that went kaput after 6 months.

I tried to rma to the manufacturer but was told to go through the place of purchase which was ocuk.

I ask ocuk to help with the rma as I can't rma directly to the manufacturer and ocuk provided me with an rma with no fuss.

Just ask ocuk nicely to help you rma the item.

I replied to P4Clock in the support forum.

All B grade comes with a 90 day warranty with OcUK, any any additional after that is with the manufacturer should they choose to accept it back.

In the Op's case the CPU needed re seating and hey presto the system is working again ;)

Enjoy it
