I'm considering ordering a motherboard from the oc'uk B grade section, apparently all items have a 14 day warranty which seems reasonable, and should give me enough time to establish if the board is o.k.

Just wondering if anyone with experience of B grade products can give me any indication of what condition etc,the products are generally in when received? Cheers.

Remember, they can't impose a condition on a contract that would override your statutory rights - that is if the goods aren't fit for purpose/faulty etc, they can be returned within a "reasonable" amount of time. See the Sale of Goods Act. :)

I risked it with a 250GB hdd. It arrived and made a odd noise on powering up and down, sounded like the ball bearings where still breaking in. A couple of days later not a peep. I assume the original owner didn't like the sound of it. :p - I only payed £40 for it too. :D

I ordered a graphics card for my brother and it works great, but it didn't come in the cool X shaped XFX box. :(

I take it on a product by product basis. :)

I bought a X1900XTX and it was faulty on the big price slash and it was faulty, i got a cracking set of headphones that ive lost though, that were great. £40 for £10 :)

I got my current mobo out of b grade. All i got was the bare board and it cost me just £35 :) And it was obvious the board was brand new.

Also managed to get an SLI bridge from the box of bits they have in the shop for a quid

Cheers lads, board is ordered.Whats the betting I get a bare pcb and a seperate bag of chips, caps and mosfets, accompanied by re-assembly instructions written by Gibbo.

Just my luck that'd be. :D

Well it turns out they didn't have the board in stock anyway, why list it then? and they're still listing it now.Daft or what?
