B grade

it means it could be in a different box, or maybe doesn't have any cables with it or has minor cosmetic issues.

edit (and yes it will be fine for bf3, jsut ensure your psu is up to the job)

alright thanks, running a 6850 on a 500w (?) i think so should be fine, thanks for the fast reply :)

Not a real expert on this but I think tht 500w is a little on the low side....have seen posts elsewhere where people have mentioned at least 650w minimum if not really 750w as the requirements.

Edit: hell of a price though, just paid that for my Ice Q turbo 6950, which I am over the moon with but a 6970@£200.......meh !

One thing you should note is that the games shown in the image are most likely not included with the card, since it is not written in the product description.

And if you already have a 6850, don't really think it's worth upgrading to a 6970...since you are basically paying more than 120%~150% extra (assuming you sell your 6850 for £80) on cost for only extra 20-25% grunt and plus the extra VRAM.

If you are only gaming at 1920 res or below, you'd be better off grabbing another 6850 to crossfire, or wait for next gen card before upgrading.

You definately won't get the free games and the product may be missing some or all of the accessories and packaging.

Your 500W PSU may not have the necessary 6 and 8 pin PCI-E power connectors for a HD 6970.

It would work with a HD 6970.

Your current PSU may be perfectly fine for a HD 6950.

The HD 6950 is only a few percent slower than a HD 6970.

You can buy a HD 6950 for £200 with free games and it would be a full retail version and you'd save buying a new power supply if the current one is up to the job.

If you want to consider this option please provide the make and model of your power supply.

ill have to open my pc up and cant do that atm, however a 6950 will be able to play BF3 ?and besides a 500w is probably outdated now so im gonna purchase a 750 W

thanks a lot
