I have been on www.diy.com for around 20mins now just trying to find a kitchen drawer with no success. Sure there are plenty of fronts and door/drawer front packs but I cannot find the actual drawers?

Is it a crap site or am I just crap?

i've never got on well with their site.

answer = its a crap site :p

I've tried to look at kitchen stuff on the B & Q site & gave up . I went to the local store and spoke to the "Kitchens Expert" about the site & she said " it's a crap site, we can't find anything either" :D

i too work for B&Q of a weekend as part of the showroom team, what drawers you looking for?

Well to be honest I have a couple of brand new 300mm and 600mm drawers in the garage from a couple of years ago when we knocked together a kitchen we we first moved in (we being me and parents). We have since had the kitchen extended and a nicer kitchen made and finished.

As I use the garage for work I am just clearing out some stuff and came across about 10 brand new B&Q units. Wanted to know if they are worth ebaying.

Gave up searching and stuck them on ebay anyway. It was quicker.

B&Q usually change their range often which i find stupid if you ask me because people are unable to get replacements a few years down the line, even a year in some cases
"same goes for tiles ladies and gentleman 6 months average so make sure you buy enough lol Tesla that sort of date you got no chance of us stocking them unless they are something like maple style modern or oak effect the most common. But yes Ebay was smart move personally

B&Q's website is extremely poor at best, it's near on impossible to find even the more popular items, you search for taps and it says no results found etc (that was a hypothetical example as i can't remember what i actually searched for, might have been a radiator actually)

Given how much their website is probably worth (the domain name is one any diy store would kill for), why they cannot or will not spend a bit of time and money to make it easier to use is beyond me.

It's one of the worst online store websites i've ever had the misfortune of trying to use.

But thats the same for any DIY store, I ordered a kitchen from MFI about 4 years ago, it's discontinued already.

My thoughts too.

I also work for the same company and it's dire. I'm usually the lucky person on the phone assisting customers. When I get customers asking about a product on line they always comment on how rubbish the site is.

I feel sorry for Showroom staff, poor sods get a lot of stick :(
