B+W MRC Circular Polarizer

There seems to be too many different versions of filters out there with different lettering, its confusing .

Which is the better one to get, to be used with canon 10-22.

B+W 77mm MRC Circular Polarizer Glass Filter NEW F-PRO
B+W 77mm kaesemann MRC SLIM Circular Polarizer Filter

Also if i was to use a 50mm f1.8 with 52mm to 77mm Step-Up Ring, is there any issues to worry about?.

P.S Are B+W better alternative to Hoya?
