B&W MT30

I used to have a pair of Kef eggs for rears, and I'm guessing the B&Ws will have similar advantages and compromises.
Being so small, they'll not suffer from cabinet resonance (a good thing), but will probably struggle to put together a cohesive image across the frequency range because they're using a single seperate sub.
I've heard very few sub/sat systems that I like. Personally I'd much rather go with a decent pair of stereo speakers.

Thanks, I'm intersted to see what there "musical" performance is like, I think film performance will be pretty good.

The PV1 is supposed to be one hell of a sub ;)

I will report back once I've had the audition.

I'm with Mr S

These will be very capable movie speakers but there is a major compromise in the crossover for music because of the lack of low range capability of the sats.

If you are used to bigger speakers you are more likely to notice the bass coming from a single source, if you are new to surround sound the novelty of this might distract from it.
