Built up a system today consisting of

I5 8500
Biostar B360 GTS3
2 X 8gb 2400mhz ( I'll call this Kit 1)

Was getting BSOD's while trying to install Windows. Dropping kit 1 down to a single stick (I tried both) didn't help.

Switch over to a single stick of 2666mhz (Kit 2) I have lying around and all was smooth.

I then tried my new kit 2x8gb 3200mhz (Kit 3) and again all smooth, although was locked to 2666mhz because of the platform.

Now I know Kit 1 is good, had it running in my main rig for a 8 months or so and even put it back in there today and it ran through a Ram stability test no problem.

However I can barely make it into windows with Kit 1 on the new system at default Jdec specs and can't even post 9/10 if I try and enable the 2400mhz xmp profile.

I've haven't come across RAM issues like this, especially at the lower end of supported frequency and I'm wondering if there's anything I can try to stabilise my RAM?

Tried 3 different BIOS' and increased voltage from the standard 1.2v up to 1.35v. I've done a fair bit of RAM OC'ing on my main rig lately and looking at the default timings they seem pretty relaxed, nothing jumping out at me as being wrong.

Should say that I've run Kit 2 and 3 at 2133mhz jdec spec and there xmp profiles in a mixture of slots across the the board and all seemed fine. Not done prolonged stability testing but compared to Kit 1 that struggles even to get to windows.
