Hi my specs are rtx 2070
16gig 3200mhz ram crucial ballistic
3600 ryzen cpu with above motherboard
My question is I want to upgrade my ram to 32 gig and am wanting 3600mhz ram but a friend has told me that my motherboard is not compatible with 3600mhz ram
So am I limited to only 3200mhz ram only please as I wasn’t aware of the limitations on such a board.

It's not true here's the list of ram speed although some will be overclocked speed and not guaranteed yo work at that.

DDR4 MEMORY1866/ 2133/ 2400/ 2667Mhz (by JEDEC) For AMD Ryzen Gen3 (R5/R7/R9) 2667/ 2800/ 2933/ 3000/ 3066/ 3200/ 3466/ 3733/ 3866/ 4000/ 4133 MHz (by A-XMP OC MODE) For AMD Other CPU 2667/ 2800/ 2933/ 3000/ 3066/ 3200/ 3466 MHz (by A-XMP OC MODE)

It would be cheaper yo just add another 16 gb of the same ram, 3200mhz to 3600mhz if lucky about 1 to 3 fps.

Have you tried overclocking your 3200mhz ?

No matter what I shall upgrade from 16gig to 32gig of ram. Unsure know if 3600mhz would be a good upgrade from the ram I already have installed!
Xmp is enabled in the bios and the part number of my ram is BLT8G4D32AET4KM8FE1
Unsure if the timing are good or bad either so is it worth just adding another 16gig and tighten the timings and maybe over clock this ram to 3600mhz or buy new 3600mhz?? Pc is mainly used for gaming.
Thanks guys

Just looked up your ram, crucial ballistix tactile 3200mhz CL16, for what you are paying for that you can get Crucial Ballistix 3600mhz CL16 kit for the same price, and if you want the RGB version, its a little more expensive.
