Any advice on choosing a B650E board to go with a 7800X3d build? The two budget wise candidates seem to be

Gigabyte Aorus Elite

Asus ROG Strix

Other than the colour, is there anything particular to choose between them? I've been running a Gigabyte Gaming 7 with my 6700K for the last nine years and it has been largely trouble free, so I would have a natural bias towards Gigabyte, but I dont know if I want a white board tbh.

The Intel Lan on the Asus can be problematic. For some it's fine but others like me have big problems with it dropping the connection and slow speed. Mine has been so unreliable I disabled it and switched to wifi instead, something I have never needed to do before.

I'm not seeing that in stock? Is that with a competitor or am I going blind I've looked at so many listings lately (likely)..
Its not at Overclockers unfortunately but if you need to get a board from there then the Asus is a solid choice.

Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX V2 check the specs are correct to be sure.

You know you can go B850 or X870 too, right?

Ah, I was wanting a B650E version, I think the £150 price is non-E.
Worth noting that since the PCIE5 cards were released, there were reports that many of these B650 boards apparently do support PCIE5 anyway, with the option available in the BIOS and confirmed in GPU-Z.
