BA038 Initial Report Published

Don't think anyone has posted this yet and seeing as their was a lot of interest on this at the time..

Focus still on the fuel delivery systems citing the evidence to date indicates that both engines had low fuel pressure at the inlet to the HP pump..

..also noted that there was unusually cold air in the Urals. Sounds painful..

Interesting, so where does the blame lie? Pilots, BA ground crew, third party? Jury is still out on that one by the looks of it. (Only had a skim read so far)

They still have no idea then... Interesting that the plane has been written off, I don't remember it looking that badly damaged but I may be wrong.

Engine/pump designers. BA just bought the kit.

Aye, it was a while back and I couldn't remember how bad the damage was, just looked on the BBC's website, and it was worse than I recall...
