it has been a while since I was in clocking zone so I seem to be missing all my brain cells
or perhaps I have duff kit this time round
Story:
a while ago I upgraded, I used to have a p4 2.4 @ 3.4 running sweet
then I bought a shiny new q6600
it is Family 6 Model f stepping 7 rev B3
and a 965P-DQ6
I was an early adopter (perhaps my mistake) and I have a rev C1 mobo
I have been away for some time and never tried to clock this rig but decided to have a play today
I cannot seem to get even a mild clock on this
as soon as I even change the bus or multiplier and save the system restarts
2x then goes back to defaults
have I lost my touch, am I doing something wrong, am I just lame
anyone got any ideas of things I can try
