Ok I have Google as my homepage and whenever I do a search say BBC and click on the link I can work through the site forward and back no problems, but if I keep clicking the back button until I return to the last page then one more click used to take me back to Google but now for some weird reason it just refreshes the first page requiring a double click to return to Google. I've not changed anything recently and I've also carried out the usual delete history / cache etc. any ideas ? Yip on IE9 :)

some crappy websites will try and detect when you click the back button so you can't easily leave it and will force a refresh instead.

but if you believe it's a browser issue, check with another browser first. also, you should be able to right click the back button to get back to the previous site without issue.

Yeah I know what you mean mate whenever you clcik on random links but I'm talking any website atm. Now when you say right click do you then mean select it from the list that appears ? If I select google it goes back there but for some reason its always ticked at the page am at (if this makes sense).

Still to try another browser. Cheers
