Depends on the game most do

if it does not try right clicking the executable and selecting compatibility options

I've just got say I'm well impressed with Win 7 and its compatibility with older games, not had bother with any of mine.
And its even 64 bit!

most Xp games will work on vista/7 but there are problems with win 98 and earlier games sometimes.
