Just received an email fro OcUK about my RMA'ed MSI 560Ti.

The product GX-114-MS on RMA RMA2**** has been replaced, this will be sent on a new order with order number 4****.

This will be despatched as soon as possible, subject to stock availability.
The twin Frozr hasn't been in stock for a while so hoping I might get a free upgrade;) or else hope it is 3rd time lucky. Just might sell on the MM & get a 660 or 670

PS is it just me that only has 1 page of threads displaying?

6 series cards aint that good at crunching at present my 480s are crunching more than my 680 would look into it more first :)

But power consumption is a fair bit less :p

Also the system will be used for games too by my son and according to anandtech the 660 is a fair bit faster in the majority of cases.

My 670 seems to be going through units like a hot knife through butter at the moment!

I have four 680's crunching not stop and currently acheiving about 90k whereas my two 570's are getting around 63k rac.....

You are correct tho - the 6 series are better for gaming.

You could use the 6950 for Milkyway@home :)

6950 has already sold :p

660 seems to be the best card for the maximum I want to spend at the moment, should run BF3 and Company of Heroes at decent FPS too if and when it's needed to.

Do the reference 660's suffer from the same horrible fan noise as the 670's do? In which case is it better getting a custom cooler job like the Twin Frozr?

No idea on the 660's I've only had a 680 and that was a noisy mofo folding, but then so is the 7970 when running MW so I just watercooled it :)

YOU SOLD THE 6950!!! I've been trying to get one for weeks.

Here's a riddle for you:
SETI, I've had to drop the core speed to 925 to get it to run x2 gpu wu at a time @ 1.025v [old card would run @ 940 stable & 950 for 10-12 hrs before a problem] Upgraded to latest BOINC will see if that makes a difference.

FAH is running @ 950MHz just fine albeit at a toasty 75-76C
