Picked up this yesterday :)

1990 RX7 turbo - kicking out 290 hp at the moment.

Can't stop to type much, it's such a laugh to drive this beast! It's got 20k on rebuilt and ported engine, full stainless exhaust and upped boost and is very noisy! Has spent past couple of years being used primarily as a sprint car.

Yeah it seems to backfire a hell of a lot. Need to bung the exhausts really i'm sure its illegally loud at the moment!

Paid £1500 for it, MOT til end of May as well. Has bilstein shocks all round, new tyres, excellent condition though few scratches here n there.
 
Only problems with the loud exhaust - motorways are a pain (unless ** deaf),
and everyone seems to want a race. But it does bring a smile to your face when you're driving it :D
 
100db sounds about right, you can get away with more if you never rev it around town. I used to have a completely blown exhaust that sounded great if it was 30c out & was still quite quiet upto 3000 revs :D

Get one with removable baffles?
 
Very nice mate, I have a soft spot for the FC. Nice power figure too, and for that price a bargain :cool:
