Hi all,
I am still unfortunately gaming on a Samsung T240 with a Radeon R290 driving it.
I was recently tying to sample the 75Hz the monitor should be capable of at 1240x1024.
I have tested in both Valorant and CS:GO and can get the 75hz to work. I have to set windows to that resolution and then configure 75Hz in the advanced settings.
When I enable vsync the FPS is tied at 75.
The issue is when running at 75hz the games micro stutter like crazy, either with vsync on or off.
I have the monitors driver from 2008 installed, not sure that helps....
Have tried over HDMI and the current dual link DVI I normally use.
I know this is probably a case of just play at 60hz or buy a new monitor but wondered if anyone would have any insight on what might be causing the problem. It would just be nice to see if 75Hz made any difference to the competitive games etc.
Thanks,
Ash
