Back-order question

Just had confirmation of my order now being in transit with delivery tomorrow.
I've also received an email indicating that one of the items I ordered, is on back-order.... does that mean they will forward the item when it is in stock or, will I have to re-order when it returns in stock?
 
They will hopefully send when stock arrives, check that you have not been credited the item though.
 
Basically it means that the item has been put on a separate order, so the main order can be dispatched.
 
If it has been back-ordered, it means it is on a separate order. So if you want to amend this item to an alternative we can do this for you. - This way we can get the part to you sooner.

Hi Sub,
I've just replied by email with an alternative model to replace the OOS item. They were both very similar items, so either will do!
