Back plate for EVGA 660ti

Hi there. I am looking at purchasing the EK water block for my EVGA 660ti SC card (EK-FC670 GTX) and know I need to get a back plate for it too. I have noticed that EVGA do there own design back plate and was wondering if i could use it alongside the EK water block or do I have to use EK's back plate instead.

Can't see no reason why not, GPU block goes on one side the back plate on the other.

Thats what I was thinking and the EVGA plate is cheaper and looks nicer

the only problem i am noticing is that the evga backplate extends the length of the card with the original cooler and will hang over the edge of the card without it. im not sure if that will make it look stupid or add extra weight to it and cause problems
