The silverstone thread in the case forum has made me really want one. By time I have sold my A71 and the watercooling stuff it probably wont have cost me anything. It would be nice to have a smaller case and not have the hassle of watercooling. The only downside is I woull probably have to lower my clock a bit.

My hardware will be

i7-920 - currently 4Ghz, guess it would do 3.8Ghz under air.
Gigabyte UD5
OCZ 6Gb DDR3
GTX 280
Asus Xonar D2X
2 x Samsung SSD
1 x Seagate 1.5TB
Be Quiet 850w

All this into a Silverstone Fortress
TRUE black cooler

Then fans either Sharkoon SE2000, or Enermax Cluster white LED or Xigmatek XLF-F1253 in the case rear and push pull on the true.

Am I crazy? Opinions on which fans would look best.

I just want simplicity and a more compact system and the Fortress looks amazing.

I'm already on my 5th case in 2 years, I think I have a problem. :p

well it is if you have to remove anything in the loop. I hate draining it. Also every so often I get a gurgling of water, there is only a small bit of air in my res.

Ordered

1 Silverstone Fortress FT01B-W
1 Thermalright True Black 120
1 Thermalright LGA1366 Bolt-Thru-Kit
3 Xigmatek 120mm XLF-F1253 1500RPM

You bring the money round then Luke :p

Since joining this forum I have had

Antec 900
Lian Li PC7
Antec P182
Lian Li PC-A71

A nice pattern but its Silverstone next.
