my laptop was feeling fast again so I've decided to have another go at running a DC project on it.... SETI again

I'm still running folding on my server

I'll be issuing some parp'n stomps soon

I suspect your server has a bit more horsepower than my poor overworked laptop biffa

it's started making these funny grinding noises when the fans cut in to high speedso it might be time for a new one. What's the fasted crunching laptop with a decent screen and a second display output at the moment sub £1K ex VAT?

Nah its only a XP1800+

Any Core2Duo mobile laptop should to the trick, Dell do quite a lot for around £750
